The files provided on this page are in Windows Zip format. To unzip them after downloading, you will need a program like Winzip 11.0 or Zip995 (free shareware), most Windows zip utilities are compatible. If you don't have a zip utility, click on one of the images below to download a copy.

Three versions of the WellSight Log Viewer programs are currently available to view or print your logfiles.  Version 4.4d is used for vertical and horizontal mudlogs with the file extensions: .log and .hzl, and Version 5.3c is used for vertical and horizontal mudlogs with the file extensions: .mlg and .hlg files.  Version 6.2 + is now fully backward compatible and will open, view and print Version 4, 5 and 6 logs.  Versions 4.4d and 5.3c of the Viewer are provided because they retain the function of exporting data in addition to viewing and printing, not included in the newer Version 6.2.  If you don't have a log viewer, click on one of the images below to download a copy.

  WellSight Log Viewer Ver. 6.2   This version will open Versions 4, 5 & 6 MudLogs, Horizontal Logs and Strip Logs.


After downloading the zipped Log Viewer file, unzip the file and run the ...setup.exe for any of the Log Viewers.
